Our staff is busy working at getting atlatl orders out. Give us a call if you have any questions or need anything special. As always, our loyal canine helper, Tina, travels daily to our local post office. She makes sure the packages leave our shop and are safely delivered for the start of their journey. Try to get your orders in before December 18, the post office and other carriers are guaranteeing delivery by Christmas as of December 20th.
The Thunderbird Atlatl shop is ready for the annual Christmas and Holiday gift cycle. Our atlatl elves are busy working on inventory. Looking at the December calendar, we think December 18 is probably the last day we can guarantee priority mail service to your location for Christmas. We can also look into Express mail shipping and other options to get a better guarantee after that date.
We ship most of our items priority mail through the US post office but by the third week of December, all the shipping services are getting bogged down and we notice their normal shipping guarantees are not as accurate as they usually are. We will do our best to get your orders out as quickly as possible.
If you have a special order, please call before December 10 and we will see what we can do to meet that. We also offer gift certificates. Give us a call at 1-800-836-4520 if you have any questions. Thank you for looking at our site.
The holidays were very busy at the Thunderbird Atlatl shop and January was also a little crazy. We dealt with some equipment issues and we are now back in full production.
We are working on a new catalog and will have that available by April. Meanwhile, we are looking at the 2017 schedule and will be posting that in the next few days.
Next week, we will be traveling to Florida for two programs at Silver Springs State Park in Silver Springs, Florida, the weekend of February 17 to 19 The following weekend, Februar 24, 25 and 26 we will be at Ochlockonee River State Park in Sopchoppy, Florida. There will be ISACs at both events, please check the World Atlatl Association event calendar for days and times.
Thunderbird Atlatl’s Bob Berg spent a day with the Primitive Pursuits camp in Ithaca, NY this past week. The pictures tell the story. It was a great day of learning, sharing and having a great time with atlatls and other primitive pasttimes.
