Two fun events this weekend! The Candor Fall Festival in Candor, NY and Atlatl Day at the Rebecca Nurse Homestead in Danvers, Massachusetts. The Northeast Chapter of the Massachusetts Archaeological Society hopes to start an annual program again. In Candor, Sue Mercer scored her personal best on the ISAC! Congratulations Sue! The photo shows Doug Bassett, Sue Mercer and Marlin Bassett with an array of 10s on an ISAC round! Thanks to Dan Brophy for helping out this weekend in Candor so Thunderbird Atlatl could be in two places at once again!

Great time at the World Atlatl Association meeting in Connecticut and also at the Second House Museum program in Montauk, Long Island! Thanks to Clara Berg and Bonnie Russell for helping us out in Montauk.

Gary Fogelman, publisher of Indian Artifact Magazine, visited the Chimney Point Atlatl Contest in Addison, Vt for the first time this year and managed to leave with the Grand Champion award! Gary was returning from a successful archaeology dig in Massachusetts. See the photo below!

Thunderbird Atlatl had a great time in Vermont for our 18th year. The staff at Chimney Point was as amazing as ever.
