Thunderbird Atlatl will be attending “Shooting Day” at the Outdoor Writers Association of America Conference in Louisiana on Monday, June 19.
We will be demonstrating the atlatl and giving writers and other interested folks an opportunity a chance to try the atlatl.
The US Department of Interior is coordinating Shooting Day.
On June 22, Bob Berg is offering a fishing line workshop – showing how to make fishing line out of flax at the Home Textile Museum in Orwell, Pa. For further information contact the Home Textile Museum at www.hometextiletoolmuseum.org or (607) 648-4146.
Hello Bob. Just wanted to leave a quick note that I am sorry I missed the posting of this event, in Louisiana. I have recently moved from Missouri to Gonzales LA. and have not had a chance to network within the area. If you were able to make some contacts with people interested in the atlatl, I would love to get my hands on their contact information. Once leaving Michigan and then leaving Missouri and relocating here, I have felt lost, not having any contacts to throw with down here. Any help you may have would be greatly appreciated.
Victor,
I live in Covington, LA and have been given an Atlatl as a gift. I have 2 days of throwing under my belt, but I can tell you that I absolutely love throwing this thing. Look me up at my website and send me an e-mail.
Thanks,
Frank
My website is http://www.yatfish.com. I would like to see how to incorporate fishing with the Atlatl.
We will be in Florida for the next couple of weeks and will be using harpoons with the atlatl. We’d be happy to have you join us sometime. Bob Berg, Thunderbird Atlatl
You made some good points there. I did a search on the topic and found most people will agree with your blog.
This is a great site, I love the theme you are using. I Stumbled it for you and bookmarked it on Digg.
I like your style, the fact that your site is a little bit different makes it so interesting, I get fed up of seeing same-old-same-old all of the time. I’ve just stumbled this page for you 😀
