Throwing a flaming atlatl dart for Winter Solstice


Every Winter Solstice, we have a tradition of throwing a flaming atlatl dart to start our campfire at our Winter Solstice Party. It’s a great way to ring in the Christmas season and the new year on the shortest day of the year.

Prelude to Traditional Fletching is a new video just completed by Thunderbird Atlatl. The video shows how to make traditional thread using hemp fiber. This is a great video for those wanting to learn the techniques for traditional fletching.
