Thunderbird Atlatl is looking forward to visiting Chimney Point Historic site for our annual workshop and contest September 19 and 20. This year is a special year with the World Atlatl Association holding its annual meeting from Thursday, September 18 to Sunday, September 21. There will be International Standard Accuracy Contests (ISACs) held every day.

The main event will be Saturday, September 20, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Food and snacks available for purchase, while they last.

On Friday, sign up for workshop to build an atlatl and darts. Call the museum at (802) 759-2412 for more information. The cost of the workshop is $70.
On Saturday, participate in or watch this annual atlatl championship testing skills in accuracy and distance. The sport of using the atlatl to throw darts is based on the ancient hunting technique.
