Just call in or order over the internet between now and midnight on Black Friday, November 26 and we will ship your order for Free!
No matter what size order you have, all dart orders will be receiving a free dart repair kit including points and glue.
Shipping is always expensive when shipping long, light items like atlatl darts because the delivery services add an umbrella charge to the shipping cost.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Areodynamic Tapered Darts with Excellent Flight Characteristics
We have taken another step forward in the manufacture of our popular tapered darts! Along with our high quality standard wooden Ash darts and bamboo darts, we now produce quality wooden tapered darts. Our tapered darts provide high quality flight characteristics. Our tapered darts are available in straight grained Ash that we mill ourselves from veneer quality logs as well as Spruce and Douglas fir. Seven foot tapered ash darts weigh in at 7 ounces which is excellent for hunting. The seven foot spruce and fir darts are great target darts rivaling the flight characteristics of the more expensive bamboo darts that we also make.
Thunderbird Atlatl started producing quality tapered darts early in our twenty years of business. Our original method was cumbersome and labor intensive so Bob Berg designed and built a more efficient method of tapered dart production. This milestone has made it easier for us to provide the high quality tapered darts that we are now offering to our customers without a long wait. If you would like to add tapered darts to your atlatl set the process adds a dollar each to each dart.

Lots of Atlatl Enthusiasm at the Ashland Historical Society
Thunderbird Atlatl enjoyed our visit to the Ashland Historical Society this past weekend. Thanks to Ro Martinis and Rose Condon for setting up the event.
The weather was wonderful allowing for outside activities. The morning seminar was a program for elementary students and their parents. In the afternoon, the program was opened up to the community.
Bob Berg discussed atlatl history, demonstrated cordage, flintknapping, fire building and atlatl building. Cheryll Berg demonstrated atlatl casting in the museum’s backyard with wonderful help from Ashland Historical Society volunteers. Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers and for the great hospitality in Ashland. Dominique DePaolo was the photographer for the day and sent along some wonderful photos which we show below.

CANDOR FALL FESTIVAL!
We had a great time and at the Candor Fall Festival! Thanks to all who came and participated in ISACs and the local contest. Saturday challenged atlatlists with brisk winds but some were able to better their scores on the ISAC round. Congratulations to all.
Gary Fogelman was the Grand Champion of the local contest. Jack Rowe came in second and Melissa Dildine and Wayne Wells tied for third. The contest included shooting at pumpkins and a cardboard deer target. There was also a Pumpkin Penetration Round where atlatlists had to see whose dart would pierce the deepest into a pumpkin target.
