If you want to get an order in before Christmas, try to get the order to us by December 17th at the latest.

Order Now

If you are thinking of ordering an atlatl as a gift, please try to get your order in over the next couple of weeks. We always get busy filling gift orders as the holiday approaches and it helps to have some turn around time.

We have lots of atlatls and darts in stock and look forward to working with you. Either order online or give us a call at 1-800-836-4520 so we can help you with your order. We can safely guarantee delivery by Christmas if we get your order in the mail by December 20th so plan accordingly.

Happy Holidays.

Busy Day/Survivor Atlatl Challenge

There was a surge in people looking at our site today. We are assuming this had to do with the AP story on atlatl hunting and the recent use of the atlatl on Survivor. If you are having trouble with any part of our site, just let us know via email contact@thunderbirdatlatl.com or thunderbirdatlatl@gmail.com or call 1-800-836-4520. Please request a catalog, we will be glad to send one to you.

The atlatl was featured Nov. 10th on the CBS primetime show Survivor (episode 9). Contestants in the show had to use the atlatl for one of the show’s challenges. It’s about time the atlatl found its place on primetime television!! Looking to find out more about this ancient weapon, email us at contact@thunderbirdatlatl.com or call our toll-free number at 1-800-836-4520.

November Musings

The weather was great for the Icicle Atlatl Contest once again! It was a nice last get together for many. Bob Berg ended last week with a trip to the Lorton Elementary School in Virginia for a day of workshops with students.

We’re continuing making plans for the February trip to The Alamo and look forward to new adventures.

Looking for atlatl gifts for the holidays, check out our online catalog. Questions?? Call us at 1-800-836-4520. Try to place your holiday orders by the first couple of weeks in December so you’ll be sure to get timely delivery.

ICICLE CONTEST

Prepare for the last ISAC contest in the Northeast this weekend Nov. 5 and 6!!

Tom Goble has gracefully opened his home for this year’s Icicle Throw and the Tyoga Atlatl Association has taken over hosting this annual event. The event will be OUTSIDE this year so wear layers. Our former venue at Tioga Park has been closed to us because of new ownership.

We were lucky last year because the Tyoga Atlatl Association stepped in at the last minute when Tioga Park fell through and helped host the contest at the EMC Club in Waverly/Barton, NY area. The weather was beautiful last year and we’re hoping for a repeat again this year! So maybe those layers won’t be necessary but be prepared!

Participants will be able to warm yourself up inside with some hot coffee between throwing. Bring a dish to pass for a Saturday afternoon dinner. TAA will provide the hamburg and hotdogs.
