The World Atlatl Association Meeting will be held this weekend at the Stonetool Technology Show at Letchworth State Park on the Mt. Morris, New York side (north side of the park).
Thunderbird Atlatl will be at the show. There will be a lot of events for atlatlists. ISAC and IAC contests, New York State championships and an Aztec Atlatl Battle.
All are invited to this show. The actual show will take place Saturday and Sunday beginning at 10 a.m. each day. There will be flintknapping, atlatl events and much, much more including a Mountain Man and Civil War encampments.

Atlatl, Cordage & Fish Line Making
We returned from the Pennsic Wars and along with a few drenching rainfalls, we have stories to tell of Aztec Atlatl Battles with up to 60 participants. We look forward to next year’s battles!
Out next program will be Saturday, August 18, from 1 to 4 p.m. at
Sainte Marie among the Iroquois in Liverpool, New York. The museum site is part of the Onondaga County Parks program. Bob Berg will discuss atlatls, cordage and demonstrate making a fishing line for this three hour program.

Thunderbird Atlatl will be heading to World of Aztec Atlatl Battles and more from August 1 to 12 as we attend the Pennsic Wars in Pennsylvania.
This annual event, sponsored by the SCA, brings hundreds of people together for two to three weeks every years. The Cooper’s Lake Campgrounds turns into a medieval world with folks from every walk of life including a few Royals here and there.
Over the years, Bob Berg of Thunderbird Atlatl has taught hundreds of people about the atlatl and now every year we look forward to meeting old friends and making new friends. The Aztec Atlatl Battle has become a popular game for many atlatlists. Who will win this year? Wait and see!

Pennsic Wars – Next on the Agenda!
