Depending on where you live in the United States and Europe, atlatl contests/meets can be either be plentiful or nonexistent!
We checked out the World Atlatl Association event calendar and we will list the contests coming up through the end of June.
If you feel atlatl contest/meet deprived, it is easy to set up your own atlatl event. The World Atlatl Association, International Atlatl Society and the many state atlatl associations offer information and support for setting up an event.
A lot of the most successful events have started with area atlatl clubs which have branched out from weekly meets to holding a set number of events during the year. The New York State Atlatl Association has a lot of information and events on its web page. The 10th Annual Bald Eagle Knap-in and Terry Keefer Memorial Atlatl Tournament
Bald Eagle, Pennsylvania

Sponsored by the Susquehanna Flintknappers Inc. The event will be held on at the Tyrone Camp Anderson Boy Scout Camp 4 miles from Interstate I-99 and 24 miles from I-80. The site has showers, toilets, running water, a newly remodeled snack bar and cafeteria plenty of camping sites, a trout stream and pond camp. Camp established in 1911 in a beautiful mountain settling. Scouts will be serving food all four days.
